Hi! My name is Lee. I’ve been influenced by the pop-culture and media fascination with food, food safety, and nutrition and health. Along with my love for food and quest for truth and knowledge I decided to pursue a masters in food microbiology. What’s that you might ask. Well in involves food and microbes like Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria, etc. but there are good ones too, like Micrococcus for sauerkraut, Lactobacillus for yogurt, and the good ol’ molds for tempeh and soy sauce.

In the theme of all things food, this corner of the cloud has links to farms I’ve visited, gardening and growing tips, demystified food safety knowledge and meals I’ve made. Enjoy!
